Enrollment deposits

An enrollment deposit is required of all enrolling undergraduate first-year, transfer, and re-admitted students. This deposit serves as a confirmation of your plan to enroll at Calvin and is credited to your student account

U.S. and Canadian students: $300

United HealthCare Student Plan Insurance 2024–25

To ensure that students have access to necessary medical care, Calvin requires all students who are enrolled in 6 or more credits to have health insurance coverage. The university offers coverage for you if you need it. United HealthCare provides year-round coverage for $2,100. You will be automatically enrolled in United HealthCare unless you provide proof of comparable coverage and sign a waiver form by the specified date.

If a student has valid health insurance that provides (major medical) coverage while studying at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, an online waiver form demonstrating adequate coverage must be completed. However, please do not assume that a plan provides coverage: it is strongly recommended that students investigate carefully with their insurance company prior to completing the waiver. 

Vehicle registration 2024-25

Motor vehicles owned or operated by Calvin students must be properly registered with Campus Safety and must carry an official .
