The Calvin Marching Band is a music ensemble that performs regularly at home football games. This ensemble is open to all interested students, instruments, and levels of experience.

Pep Band (Spring Only)
The Calvin Pep Band is a music ensemble that performs regularly at men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 home basketball games. Our ensemble includes flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums, tubas, drum set, and electric bass.

Marching Band Uniform Information
- Each member will be issued a band shirt, hat, and jacket.
- Members are expected to provide their own black pants. These should be typical "dress" black slacks--no leggings or jeans. They should be solid black with no visible details or embellishments. Please ensure length is adequate for appropriate black socks and marching shoes.
- Members are expected to provide their own black marching shoes. Members may use those from high school, or can purchase them from a variety of online vendors. ( offers several affordable options and ships quickly.) Shoes must be solid black with no visible markings or details. Comfortable footwear is highly recommended.
