All USPS, FedEx, Amazon packages are delivered to mail services and then delivered to residence desks and the Knollcrest East front desk once each weekday. Students will be notified when the package is at the desk.

At the end of January, U.S. students can download their 1098-T tax forms from Workday. These forms are only available to students directly, not via third-party (parent) access.Ìý

Student Communication

Calvin’s operational policy regarding university/student communication is that the primary communication link from the university is through the student. FERPA, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, also provides guidelines that support and direct this policy.

Even though this communication policy is the operative principle, parents may still gain access to student record information. FERPA states that parents may gain permission to access student records if the student is currently claimed as a for income tax purposes. However, out of common courtesy and respect for the student and his/her rights, parents should still request access to those records and statements through the student who would then authorize that the requested information be released to the parents.

Banks such as Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU), Fifth Third, Chase, PNC and Bank of America are available in the area.

ÌýThere are several LMCU ATM machines on campus. Calvin is mostly a cash-less campus.
