Join the School of Health on October 3rd for a lecture on "The Role of Trust in cervical Cancer Prevention" by Dr. Toluwani Adekunle, Assistant Professor of Public Health.
This session will explore how trust in healthcare systems, providers, and public health messaging influences cervical cancer prevention. It will examine barriers to HPV vaccination and screening, particularly among historically marginalized communities, and highlight the role of culturally responsive care in improving uptake. The session will also discuss strategies to build and sustain trust as a foundation for equitable cervical cancer outcomes.
