The Calvin Climbing Center offers FREE climbing experiences for all Calvin students, faculty, and staff. It is not open to the general public. The Climbing Center is in the lobby of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex.

Our instructional staff are trained to create a safe and memorable first-time experience for those learning to climb and belay. A dynamic team of student setters maintain 50 routes from 5.6 to 5.13. The Climbing Center offers a welcoming and hospitable community of Calvin students and is a high energy social hub on the Calvin campus.

OPEN CLIMBING HOURS - September 2 - December 11; January 20 - April 30

First-timer belay and climbing training available at all sessions

Mondays: 4-5:30pm; 7-9pm

Tuesdays: 4-5:30pm; 7-9pm

Wednesdays: 4-5:30pm; 7-9pm

Thursdays: 4-5:30pm; 7-9pm

Fridays: 4-5:30pm; 7-9pm

Saturdays: 12-4pm

Sundays: 2-4pm

*Note: Climbing Center will be CLOSED for Fall Break/Advising, Thanksgiving Break, January Intensive, Spring Break, Easter Break, and Spring Advising

4-Week Climbing Classes

Sport Leading Course: Tuesday, 5:30-7pm

Technique Course: Wednesday, 5:30-7pm

Anchor Cleaning/Systems: Thursday, 5:30-7pm
