An ArtPrize entry at Calvin College's has been honored with the Sustainability Award, one of a handful of juried awards given out by organizers of the international art competition. Performance artist walked from her hometown in Tucson, Ariz. to Grand Rapids with a video camera on her head and a laptop in hand. Viewers could watch her journey live at (106), which hosted the work of nine women artists exploring the notion of place, environment and material.
