January 16 - ARRIVAL DAY - if you are living on campus, please plan to move-in on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9 a.m.-noon.  If you need an early arrival, please contact housing@calvin.edu to make arrangements for the evening of January 15.

Additional Information

Meals
All Meals for all new students are provided during Spring Orientation.  For students who have meals plans, those plans begin on Sunday at lunch.

Housing/Lodging
If you will be living on campus during the school year, you will move into your residence hall before orientation.
Housing will not be available for family members. The Prince Conference Center and Hotel, located on campus, is owned and operated by ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ and has rooms available for a fee. If you call to reserve a room, mention that you are with the Orientation program for a discount. There are also several other hotel options nearby.

Cost
A $250 orientation fee applies but is part of the enrollment fee you already paid.  The fee covers all costs (including meals) associated with orientation; there is no cost for families to participate.
