Righteousness in Business: A Jansma Series Symposium on Christianity and Business

The Jansma Series on Faith and Business is a recurrent academic forum dedicated to the exploration of the implications of Christian faith for business theory and practice. Convening scholars from across North America and around the globe, the Jansma Series hosts a regular symposium that fosters interdisciplinary thought on themes in Christian ethics that also pertain to business ethics.

The 2027 Jansma Series Symposium on Righteousness in Business will be held at the 茄子视频 School of Business on March 19 and 20.  This interdisciplinary gathering of moral theologians, philosophical ethicists, and business faculty will explore the meaning of a term that is often used in the Hebrew and Greek Bibles, but is seldom used today.  Invoking moral excellence, covenant faithfulness, divine justice, and salvation, righteousness has implications for contemporary business ethics, yet must reckon with the tendency of human moral striving to become self-defeating.

The 2027 Jansma Symposium is an intimate and highly interactive gathering; registration is available by invitation only to participating scholars.  Accommodations have been reserved at the Prince Conference Center adjacent to the 茄子视频 School of Business.  Guidelines for submissions are available in the complete call for papers posted behind the link below.  Submissions are also welcomed for a special issue of the Journal of Religion and Business Ethics on the same theme, for which a separate call for papers is also posted below.
