This rebroadcast of the 2025 annual Paul B. Henry Lecture brings a Christian political practitioner to Calvin to speak about the interplay of religion and politics. The event is intended to inspire the college and the community to actively seek to integrate a Christian worldview with practical politics and public life. *The January Series in July is pre-recorded and shared online to our viewers.

This year, the Henry Institute partnered with the Calvin Prison Initiative (CPI) for a lecture on "God Behind Bars: A Conversation About Faith, Incarceration and the Public Square." The discussion included Todd Cioffi, Senior Advisor of CPI; Shawn England, CPI Alumnus and Calvin Theological Seminary student; and Noah Nagy, Warden of the Parnall Correctional Facility. Together, they explored the profound impact of Christian values on the issues of justice, incarceration and public policy. The discussion was so rich, the January Series finds tremendous value in re-sharing the lecture with our unique community.
