Lecture on The Exodus of Hendrik Peter Scholte

Members of the Heritage Class are invited to a joint lecture with the Calvin Academy for Lifelong Learning on Friday, April 25 at 11 a.m. in the Calvin Seminary Auditorium! Hear from author of historical novel The Exodus of Hendrik Peter Scholte, Michiel Van Diggelen, and historian Bruce Boertje as they discuss the life of Scholte in the Netherlands and Iowa. Additionally, they'll address Dutch immigration and Scholte's relationship to Van Raalte and other members of the Afscheiding/Separation from the Reformed Church of the Netherlands.
