Football Welcome

As part of their Welcome to campus, members of the football team will arrive on campus early to move in and participate in training camp practices. The arrival day is Tuesday, August 12!

Athletes and families will receive more information from their coaches and the Orientation Team in July and August.

Family members are invited to help students move into their fall housing placement after the Kick-off Meeting for athletes and families. Family members are also welcome to return to attend Welcome Week family programming on Thursday, August 28, from 1-7 p.m.

Below is the Schedule of Events for the Football Welcome program:

Tuesday, August 12 

  • 9:00-9:30  â€‚Kick-off Meeting – Report to the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex
  • 9:30-12:30pm  â€‚Move-in 
  • 2:30-3:15  â€‚Orientation Welcome
  • 3:15-3:45  â€‚Parent Goodbye
  • 3:45-5:30  â€‚Football Meetings
  • 5:30-8:30pm Appointments for Athlete Physicals
  • 5:30-6:30  â€‚Dinner
  • 9:00-10:30pm   Dodgeball Tournament
  • 10:30-11:00   Late-Knight Pizza Party
