First Gen Pinning Ceremony

Mark your calendar for the second annual First-generation Graduate Pinning Ceremony hosted by Calvin First and First-Gen Council: Thursday, May 1st 5:30-6:30 PM.

 

This event honors graduating first-generation students, recognizing their achievements and providing a platform for inspiration and encouragement.

Event highlights:

  • Graduating Seniors receive a First-generation grad pin to wear at graduation.
  • Hear personal stories and advice from two first-generation faculty members, Professors Maria Rodriguez and Ryan Bebej.
  • Enjoy a reception with light refreshments after the ceremony.

 

All are welcome, and we extend an enthusiastic welcome to our first-generation students, staff, faculty, family and supporters to celebrate with us.
