We're honoring 40 years of conservation and restoration at the Ecosystem Preserve & Native Gardens! And to make our 40th year extra special we're installing a gateway rock garden to the Preserve this fall. The rock garden is gorgeously designed for academic and public engagement. Join us for a groundbreaking ceremony at 1 PM with campus leaders, faculty, staff, & students. 

The open house will offer:

• garden tours featuring new garden QR code signs, the completion of a 2-year project cataloging each garden with garden webpages that list plants & cultural information
• guided trail hikes--with 40-year-old trees marked
• children's programming
• refreshments: turtle cookies and kombucha-on-tap

1 PM : Groundbreaking ceremony

This open house-style celebration is open to alumni, Calvin students, families, and public.
