Sips and S'mores at the Ecosystem Preserve

Warm up by the fire, explore trails at dusk, and enjoy drinks (from Sip Society Sodas) and s'mores at the Ecosystem Preserve! This event takes place during the fall 150th anniversary Celebration Week (Sept. 18–27).

French Film Festival- Le Comte de Monte Cristo / The Count of Monte Cristo

Le Comte de Monte Cristo follows Edmond Dantès, a young sailor falsely imprisoned due to a conspiracy. After escaping from prison, he discovers a hidden treasure and transforms into the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo. Driven by revenge, he meticulously punishes those who betrayed him, while grappling with justice, identity, and redemption.

In 1759 colonial Mauritius, enslaved 16‑year‑old Mati flees to join rumored maroon hideouts, triggering a brutal manhunt led by the plantation owner and slave hunter Madame La Victoire. Her father Massamba escapes the plantation, journeying through the jungle to find her. Their survival quest becomes a profound break from colonial oppression.
